Final Round Update: John Senden misses playoff by one shot-
Australian Open: Former NGA Pro Golf Tour player John Senden finished one shot behind Greg Chalmers in the Emirates Australian Open.

First Round Updates: Veteran Nitties T4 in Australian Open, Watson T8-Myrtle Beach, S.C. - November 10, 2011 - While the 2011 PGA Tour season has come to a conclusion, plenty of NGA Pro Golf Tour alums have traveled around the globe this week to compete in the Emirates Australian Open and the Barclays Singapore Open.
Former NGA Pro Golf Tour winner James Nitties got off to a hot start in the opening round of the Australian Open. Nittes, a four-year veteran of the NGA Pro Golf Tour, had five birdies and no bogeys in his opening-round 67. The 5-under round left the Australian in a tie for fourth and two shots behind leader Jarrod Lyle.
Fellow NGA Pro Golf Tour winner Bubba Watson had an eventful day down under. Watson, the 2004 Michelob Ultra champion, made the turn 4-under par, but bogeys on Nos. 12 and 15 left the long-hitting lefty just 1-under par with three holes remaining. Watson rallied back with a birdie and an eagle over in the last three holes to move back to 4-under par and T8.
Alums Rod Pampling and John Senden fired 2-under 70s in the opening round to finish the first round T26, while former NGA Pro Golf Tour winner David Toms finished at even-par 72 and T58.

While the recent graduates are looking to cap solid seasons, long-time alum Tom Lehman finished off a stellar season on the Champions Tour last week.
While he didn’t pick up his fourth win of the season on the Champions Tour, Lehman, who played on the NGA Pro Golf Tour in 1989-90, finished in a tie for 18th at the Charles Schwab Championship. And the top-20 finish was good enough to claim the season-long points title over Mark Calcavecchia.
With the points title, Lehman could become the first player to win Player of the Year honors on the PGA, Nationwide and Champions Tours.
