Former Hooters Tour Member Wins 4th Title
Panama City, Panama (February 8, 2009)…With a two-putt par on the second playoff hole Sunday, former Hooters Tour member Vance Veazey defeated Garrett Willis to win his fourth Nationwide Tour title at the season opening 2009 Panama Digicel Championship. (photo left courtesy of BADZ/PGA TOUR)The forty-three year old carded rounds of 67-69-68-69 for a four day total of seven-under par 273 and a spot in the playoff with Willis, who closed with a four-under par 66 in the final round.
The Memphis, TN native takes home $108,000 for his win and finds himself one step closer to making it back to the PGA TOUR.
